  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Honey try local honey for unique notes
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter melted
  • 1 cup Cornmeal
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt can be adjusted
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 large Eggs beaten
For the Garnish
  • Chopped Chives or Parsley for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh corn, creamed corn, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, honey, and melted butter.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the cornmeal, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently to combine.
  5. Fold in the beaten eggs gently until just incorporated.
  6. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish generously with butter or non-stick spray. Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  7. Place the dish in your preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
