Ingredients

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the honey glaze generously over the top of each fillet.
  4. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  5. For an extra caramelized finish, switch the oven to broil for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  6. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
