Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken breasts until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  4. Pour Irish whiskey into the skillet and flambé to enhance the flavor.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and chicken broth. Simmer until thick.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, simmering for an additional 5 minutes.
