  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch for coating
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil or neutral oil
For the Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce use tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup maple syrup for vegan
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger minced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into uniform florets, around 1-2 inches each, and toss with cornstarch.
  3. Spread the cauliflower on the baking sheet, drizzle with vegetable oil, and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Transfer crispy cauliflower to a mixing bowl and pour the sauce over it. Toss gently until coated.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
