  • 1 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup red onion Thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese Crumbled

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Add 1 pound of lean ground beef, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of ground cumin, along with salt and black pepper. Cook for 7-8 minutes until browned.
  2. In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt, 2 cloves of grated garlic, 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, and a drizzle of olive oil. Whisk until smooth, adjusting seasoning with a pinch of salt.
  3. Warm the pitas or flatbreads in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes on each side or microwave for 20-30 seconds wrapped in a damp paper towel.
  4. Spread the garlic yogurt sauce over each warm pita. Top with the beef filling, diced cucumber, chopped tomatoes, red onion, and crumbled feta cheese. Sprinkle with parsley or dill.
  5. Fold or roll the pitas around the fillings and serve immediately.
