  • 1 cup Sour Cream Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute
  • 1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 can Rotel (Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies) Drained
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Optional, adjust to taste

  • for garnish Fresh Parsley or Green Onions

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather all ingredients.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned (6-8 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Blend until mostly smooth.
  4. Fold in the cooked sausage, cheddar, mozzarella, and drained Rotel into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and smooth the surface. Sprinkle extra cheddar on top if desired.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, then garnish with parsley or green onions and serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
