Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Beat 1 cup of softened salted butter with 1 cup of confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Gently mix in 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add 2 cups of all-purpose flour to the creamed mixture, mixing on low speed until a soft dough forms.
  5. Fold in 1 cup of mini chocolate morsels and 1 cup of toffee pieces.
  6. Scoop the dough and roll it into 1-inch balls, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. If your kitchen is warm, chill the dough for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes, watching for the edges to turn lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Using room temperature butter helps with easy creaming. Don’t overmix the dough for best texture. Dust mix-ins with flour to prevent sinking during baking.
