  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried basil)
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the olive oil mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
