Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, chopped basil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the olive oil mixture generously over the salmon fillets.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
