Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather all your ingredients including ground beef, taco seasoning, canned black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and bell peppers.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 6-8 minutes until no longer pink.
  3. Add taco seasoning to the skillet and stir thoroughly for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Transfer the seasoned ground beef to the slow cooker, followed by rinsed black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and chopped bell peppers. Mix well.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  6. About 15 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover to let it melt.
  7. Serve hot, topping with sour cream, fresh cilantro, and slices of jalapeños.
