Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.
  2. In a skillet, add a splash of oil and sauté 1 pound of sliced steak for 5-7 minutes until browned. Add chopped bell peppers and onions, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  3. Spread the sautéed steak and veggie mixture over the rolled-out dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle fresh mozzarella cheese across the filling.
  4. Roll the dough away from you to create a tight log, pinch seams and ends to seal. Place seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  6. Remove from the oven, cool for 5 minutes, then slice into spirals and serve.
