Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add a splash of oil and sear the seasoned chicken thighs or breasts for about 5 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  2. Combine your BBQ sauce and honey in a small bowl until well mixed. Pour the glaze evenly over the chicken.
  3. Stir in the uncooked rice and pour in chicken broth. Bring to a gentle simmer, ensuring the rice is submerged.
  4. Cover with a lid and reduce the heat to low. Cook undisturbed for about 20 minutes.
