In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the orzo, chicken broth, broccoli florets, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the orzo is tender and the liquid is absorbed. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
