  • 4 tablespoons Olive Oil for brushing

  • ½ cup Honey high-quality
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Flakes adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed

Preparation Steps

  3. Lay out a sheet of phyllo pastry, brush with olive oil, and add another layer, brushing again.
  4. Cut the layered phyllo into four equal strips.
  5. Place a tablespoon of filling at one end of each strip and roll tightly, tucking edges in.
  6. Arrange seam-side down on the baking sheet, ensuring they're evenly spaced.
  7. Brush tops with remaining olive oil.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Combine honey, chili flakes, and lemon juice in a saucepan and warm over low heat.
  10. Drizzle warm chili honey over rolls when they are slightly cooled before serving.
