  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest Can use lime zest as a substitute.

For the Wrapper
  • 10 sheets Phyllo Pastry Alternatively, use egg roll wrappers.
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil Used to brush phyllo layers.
For the Drizzle
  • 1/2 cup Honey Can swap for agave or maple syrup.
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes Adjust according to desired heat level.
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Seeds Poppy seeds can be used if preferred.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled feta, ricotta, fresh dill, parsley, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper, mixing well.
  3. Lay out phyllo sheets on a clean surface covered with a damp towel. Brush one sheet with olive oil, layer another on top, and brush this sheet as well.
  4. Spoon a generous amount of the cheese filling along one edge of the phyllo sheet, fold sides in, and roll tightly to create a log shape.
  5. Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Heat honey in a small saucepan and stir in red chili flakes. Simmer until warm and slightly thickened.
  7. Remove rolls from the oven and drizzle with warm chili honey before serving.
