Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 pounds beef roast such as ribeye or sirloin
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary chopped (or 2 teaspoons dried rosemary)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, rosemary, olive oil, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and paprika to create a paste.
  3. Rub the garlic and rosemary mixture all over the beef roast, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  4. Place the roast in a roasting pan and pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce around the meat.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (medium-rare) or 145°F (medium).
  6. Remove the roast from the oven and cover it loosely with aluminum foil. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.

  • Add vegetables like carrots and potatoes to the roasting pan for a complete meal; just adjust the cooking time as needed for the vegetables to become tender.
