  • 2 cups chicken broth low-sodium recommended
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt or Kosher salt adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin or coriander for a different flavor
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Mexican oregano for authenticity
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 pinch ground cloves optional
  • 2 pieces bay leaves
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro for garnish

  • 2 cups white rice or Spanish rice
  • 4 pieces corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 pieces avocado slices
