- In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and warm spices until smooth and well combined.
- Coat the chicken thighs generously with the prepared marinade, ensuring each piece is well-covered.
- Place the marinated chicken in a zip-top bag or shallow dish, and let it soak for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or refrigerate it overnight.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) while the chicken is marinating.
- Remove the marinated chicken from the fridge and place it in a greased baking dish. Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- For an extra layer of flavor, optionally grill or broil the chicken for 2 minutes on each side.
