Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Finely chop one onion and a few cloves of garlic. Preheat your skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef with parsley, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until fully combined, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Shape meat mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a plate.
  4. Heat olive oil in the skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Remove meatballs and pour red wine into the skillet, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add canned tomatoes and beef broth.
  6. Return meatballs to the skillet, cover, and braise on low heat for about 30 minutes.
