  • 1/4 cup Parsley, chopped Fresh herb
  • 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning Essential mixed seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Olive Oil For frying
For the Lemon Aioli
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Zest
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic For aioli

Method
 

Shrimp Cakes Preparation
  1. Prepare the shrimp by finely chopping into small pieces or using a food processor until coarse.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, parsley, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. If the mixture feels too wet, gradually add more panko breadcrumbs to achieve a firm consistency.
  4. Shape portions of the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  6. Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Transfer cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels.
Lemon Aioli Preparation
  1. Whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Serving Instructions
  1. Plate the warm shrimp cakes with a generous dollop of lemon aioli on the side.
  2. Garnish with parsley or lemon wedges.
