  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon Mix with nutmeg for different flavor.
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar Packed; can substitute with maple sugar.
  • 2 tablespoons Softened Butter Helps filling spread easily.
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Adjust sweetness to preference.
  • 2-3 tablespoons Milk Can use dairy-free milk.
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract Optional but recommended.

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt. In a separate bowl, gently warm milk and melt butter, then combine with beaten eggs. Mix into dry ingredients until dough forms.
  2. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  3. Prepare filling by mixing apple butter, ground cinnamon, brown sugar, and softened butter in a small bowl until smooth.
  4. Roll out the risen dough into a 16x24 inch rectangle. Spread apple butter filling evenly, roll tightly, and slice into 12 equal pieces.
  5. Place slices in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for about 30-45 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake rolls for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Watch closely for doneness.
  7. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm rolls.
