Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 24-ounce jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 12 ounces jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup frozen peas optional
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in the ranch seasoning mix. Set aside.
  2. In the crockpot, combine the marinara sauce, beef broth, and cooked ground beef. Stir in the jumbo pasta shells and make sure they are submerged in the sauce. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  3. After 4 hours, add the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese to the crockpot. Stir until the cheeses are melted and well combined. If using, add the frozen peas and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes on low until heated through. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
