Description

A cozy and aromatic London Fog Latte made with Earl Grey tea, steamed milk, and vanilla syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves (or 2 tea bags)
  • 1 cup milk (whole, skim, or your choice of non-dairy milk)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lavender (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea leaves or tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
  3. While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in a separate saucepan over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling. You can also froth the milk if desired.
  4. After steeping, remove the tea leaves or tea bags and stir in the vanilla syrup. If you like it sweeter, add honey or sugar to taste.
  5. In a large mug, pour the brewed tea mixture and then add the steamed milk.
  6. If using, sprinkle lavender on top for garnish.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, use whole milk or a milk alternative like oat milk.
  • Experiment with different flavored syrups, such as caramel or hazelnut, to customize your latte.
