Description
A cozy and aromatic London Fog Latte made with Earl Grey tea, steamed milk, and vanilla syrup.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons Earl Grey tea leaves (or 2 tea bags)
- 1 cup milk (whole, skim, or your choice of non-dairy milk)
- 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon lavender (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Earl Grey tea leaves or tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes.
- While the tea is steeping, heat the milk in a separate saucepan over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling. You can also froth the milk if desired.
- After steeping, remove the tea leaves or tea bags and stir in the vanilla syrup. If you like it sweeter, add honey or sugar to taste.
- In a large mug, pour the brewed tea mixture and then add the steamed milk.
- If using, sprinkle lavender on top for garnish.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, use whole milk or a milk alternative like oat milk.
- Experiment with different flavored syrups, such as caramel or hazelnut, to customize your latte.
