Description

A sweet and refreshing peach lemonade perfect for summer days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the sliced peaches and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the peach puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp.
  3. Add the sugar to the peach juice and stir until dissolved.
  4. Pour in the fresh lemon juice and the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Mix well.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  6. Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a fizzy twist, replace half of the cold water with club soda or sparkling water before serving.
  • Add a splash of vodka or rum for an adult version of this refreshing drink.
